Resolve Recruitment are working with a fast growing independent building services company who have recently branched out into the Fire Protection market. Due to positive results and expansion they now seek an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the London & Home Counties territory.

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has been presented to us within a growing building services business. The role offers an exceptional opportunity to grow the climb the ladder within the company over time and also make this role your own! The position involves selling a range of fire protection products and solutions to clients including the NHS, private care homes, charities, as well as schools and commercial businesses. The territory will include London and the Home Counties.

Personal

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in the passive fire industry - fire doors experience an advantage
  • Very organised with good attention to detail.
  • Career driven, hard-working 'whatever it takes' work ethic and dedication and commitment to achieve company and personal goals.
  • Excellent social skills
  • Competent IT knowledge in excel, power point, word, outlook.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and remain up to date with regulations and industry changes. (element of self learning)
  • Knowledge of Bolster or Boris QA software advantage but not essential
  • Clean Driving license
  • Clean DBS

Skills

  • Technical and practical knowledge of passive fire protections solutions.
  • Undertake surveys
  • Work off drawings and quantities to price/quote
  • Contract Management - financials, managing team, sub-contractors, suppliers, client liaison
  • Commercial awareness / Business Development - strong commercial awareness. Being able to Maximise sales opportunities, finding new areas for growth and introducing new clients and new market sectors to the company.
  • Responding to Tenders (training can be provided) - prepare documents for bidding
  • Liaising with suppliers to gather best available process for products and services.
