Role:

HGV Mechanic, Heywood, Greater Manchester

Resolve Recruitment are proud to be working with one of the worlds largest providers of temperature controlled logistics solutions. Due to continued growth, our client seek a number of HGV Mechanics to work from their Heywood site in Greater Manchester.

Shift pattern: 0600-1800 4 on 4 off

The role:

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
Maintain, repair and service units and trailers to MOT standards
Making sure vehicle cleaning requirements are up to standard before MOT service
Repairing defects
General basic garage duties
Dealing with breakdowns nationwide

The person:

Experience with maintenance and MOT on HGVS
Class 1 licence is desirable
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
