Media Field Sales Executive, Stoke-on-Trent

Resolve Recruitment are proud to be working with a long established and successful UK media group. Due to continued growth, they now seek an experienced Media Field Sales Executive to drive revenue across your defined territory, developing new client relationships, and working on existing clients to retain and grow within the Stoke-on-Trent region.

The role:

  • Play a key part in developing business, both by attracting and winning new clients, and by developing your existing client portfolio.
  • Building up trusting relationships with clients.
  • Knowing your clients inside out so that you can spot opportunities for development.
  • Sell creative multi-platform advertising campaigns across a portfolio of commercial airtime, creative, digital products, sponsorships and client funded promotions.
  • Proactively manage and grow your own territory and client list and will be expected to independently source and secure new business.
  • Deliver revenue in line with pre-agreed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Hybrid working - split between office, field and home working

The person:

  • Strong track record in client facing Business to Business solution based sales - Media sales experience is not essential but highly desirable
  • Confidence in your interpersonal skills.
  • Some knowledge of the local area and potential advertisers would be desired - good commutable distance of less than 30 minutes from patch
  • Great team working skills, and the ability to support others in the team as needed.
  • Commercially aware and show an interest in the business environment, understanding how you can add value through the portfolio of products and platforms you have to offer
  • Easily build rapport and have a keen eye for a commercial opportunity
  • Naturally highly motivated, loving nothing more than smashing a target
  • Professional and both a passionate and persuasive communicator
  • Listening and fact-finding skills are second to none
  • Have confidence and conviction to pitch and ask for the business
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • You're highly organised, working well under pressure and to deadlines

The package:

  • A competitive basic of up to £30,000 p/a
