Resolve Recruitment are proud to be working with a long established and successful UK media group. Due to continued growth, they now seek several Sales Coordinators to join their busy team and be responsible for managing all advertising briefs across a portfolio of key national clients. This is an exciting opportunity that offers ongoing progression for anyone looking to take their first step into a career in media/advertising.

The role:

  • Planning, booking and on-going administration of all advertising campaigns
  • Prioritising and managing workloads to maintain a high level of accurate administration across your portfolio of clients
  • Keeping up to date with client spend as well as potential revenue
  • Assisting your Account Manager/Director with reporting
  • Maximising client expenditure by questioning all briefs and providing creative and insightful responses in line with their campaign objectives, supported by insight and research
  • Following up all proposals with excellent negotiation skills to ensure that opportunities are maximised
  • Driving key focus areas and sales initiatives across the team in order to achieve and exceed set targets
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Providing your clients with relevant industry reports and any ad-hoc requests
  • Assisting your Account Manager/Director with producing and presenting Post Campaign Analysis for applicable clients
  • Communicating company positioning to your client group through presentations and meetings
  • Developing effective working relationships with the rest of the team and other internal departments to ensure clear and consistent communication
  • Supporting other client groups across the Trading team when needed

The person:

  • Good background in Customer Service within B2B is essential
  • Media /Advertising knowledge or experience is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a good telephone manner
  • A positive attitude, showing enthusiasm about media sales
  • Effective time management skills, with great attention to detail
  • A true team-player, but with the ability to be bold and work using own initiative
  • Conscientious - punctual, willing to work hard and go beyond the call of duty with a can-do attitude
  • Naturally curious, enthusiastic and keen to develop within a large company
  • Personable and able to connect with different internal departments as well as clients
  • Good numeracy
  • Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills

The package:

  • A competitive basic salary of £21,157 p/a
  • Bonus of 40% of quarterly salary (£8k OTE)
  • 37.5 hrs p/w - Mon to Thurs 9.00am - 5.30pm, Fri 9.00am - 5.00pm
