Overview:

We are delighted to be working with one of the UK's most successful insurance brokerages. Due to an exciting period of growth and expansion, our leading Insurance client seek an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join their team in Blackburn. It will be an initial handling role which will develop into more of an executive role once you are settled in, e.g. meeting clients face to face and attending trade shows etc.

Main duties in this role:

Responsible for growing a book of commercial / agricultural clients through new business / arranging policies for new clients
Be a point of referral within the team
Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention (renewals) of clients.
Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the business

The skills you`ll bring to the role:

Thorough commercial insurance knowledge of at least 2 years in commercial insurance
Agriculture/farming risks experience advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service focus
Organised and effective worker
An aptitude for sales and new business

Package:

Salary: £30k to £45k (dependent on experience) plus commission and extensive benefits
