Corporate Account Manager, Bristol (Flexible Homeworking)

Resolve Recruitment are working with an innovative and highly successful legal insurance organisation working in partnership with brokers, insurers and solicitors. Due to continued growth, they seek now seek an experienced Corporate Account Manager to sell BTE products and services into the corporate distribution chain, including insurers, MGAs and intermediaries.

The role;

  • Ensure individual achievement against prevailing sales and renewal targets for the corporate book of business
  • Achieve growth of Net Written Premium (NWP) by identifying profitable business opportunities with new and existing partners
  • Develop and maintain individual pipeline of prospects for new business and generate opportunities by having effective communication with target agents and existing business partners
  • Adhere to agreed targets for new business calls, appointments and quotes
  • Collaborate on responses and presentations for formal and informal tenders and large business opportunities
  • Maintain frequency of customer contact, maintain and promote the company brand and act as first point of contact for all customer queries
  • Responsible for effectively maintaining and developing relationships with existing agents
  • Handling day to day service queries
  • Providing training and support
  • Managing and conducting regular review meetings
  • Apply knowledge and understanding of insurance market and product features, exclusions and warranties to develop an appropriate product specification for each customer
  • Flexible homeworking schedule

The person;

Essential

  • Degree education &/or ACII qualified (or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 5 years successful B2B sales & account management experience within the insurance industry
  • Possess a sound understanding of all classes of personal and commercial insurance
  • Proven experience of winning formal business Tenders and of winning and managing large corporate accounts
  • Sales & target driven and can identify new target agents, reach out to key people within the target organisation, arrange meetings and generate opportunities
  • Organised and willing to work in a target driven & pressurised environment
  • Strong relationship skills and provide a first-class service to all existing accounts and internal stakeholders and will always be looking for cross selling opportunities
  • Analytical and have a sound understanding of underwriting principals and be able to present both verbally and written
  • Confident manner and calm under pressure
  • Able to design and execute written reports and presentations, so communication skills are fundamental to this role
  • Have a good understanding of FCA Conduct Risk requirements
  • Effective in using Office 365 and the company CRM system, to ensure effective and accurate records are maintained.

Desirable

  • Understanding of other business functions, regulatory requirements & ISO standards e.g., environmental, IT
  • Proven detailed knowledge of Legal Expenses Insurance
